The NAPA Theatre Department offers a 3-month short course and a 3-year diploma course. Students can major in acting and direction.

Campus Facilities:

NAPA campus houses an in-house theatre, a library, and studios for practical training in theatre arts and Music. The Music department is privileged enough to own a concert grand piano, a baby grand and an upright piano. It also has two weight keyboards. Facilities for repairing instruments are available at campus. The lush green lawns of NAPA are suitable for musical soirees held against the classical backdrop of the building.

Zia Mohyeddin Theatre:

NAPA’s pride and joy is the Zia Mohyeddin in-house theatre. It is the first professionally equipped theatre in the country with state-of-the-art facilities to mount ambitions dramatic and musical performances. The theatre’s acoustical and lighting system has been designed by Theatre Project a company based in the USA and headed by Richard Pilbrow, one of the most illustrious names in the field of theatre architecture.

Library:

As the national apex body for promotion and preservation of music and drama, NAPA has a multilingual reference library comprising books as well as audio visual material.

Music Studio:

NAPA has a digital environment sound recording studio. The studio is also equipped with one of the most advanced internationally known sequencing software.

Lighting Studio:

NAPA has a studio rigged with an adequate lighting system to enable students to learn about lighting.
