Academia Interaction
NAPA shall keep itself abreast
with the developments in its related professional fields. This
in turn will ensure that NAPA remains in sync with the market
& industry as a whole so as to facilitate the gainful employment
of its graduates.
NAPA will also arrange the following activities so as to ensure
the all-round development of its students:

Internship at various institutions such as TV Channels,
TV Stations, Production Houses, Advertising
Agencies, Film studios etc.
b.
Educational visits / Study tours to above places
c.
Exchange of mutually beneficial data with industry
and similar academies and institutions.
d.
Seeking sponsorship / endowment from the corporate
world
e.
Attendance of students at various live theatre shows
& concerts
f.
Lectures by Guest speakers
In-House Theatre
An in-house fully-equipped theatre with a sitting capacity of
upto 165 people is planned to be constructed this year. It will
also have the state-of-the-art audio/video equipment and the
usual backstage facilities.
Library (Audio & Video
Archives)
As an adjunct to the Library
its audio visual section has facilities for the audio/visual
usage for four persons at a time. Collection includes gramophone
records, audio cassettes from the archives, commercial audio
cassettes, video cassettes, DVD/CDs and VCDs. This collection
covers eminent musicians of Pakistan and the sub-continent,
folk music of different regions of Pakistan and theatrical presentations
as well as selected films.
NAPA being the national apex body for promotion and preservation
of music, drama, and other performing arts will have a unique
multilingual Reference Library to help students and researchers
in the Performing Arts field. The collection is updated at frequent
intervals.
The library collection has books on Drama, Music, Theatre and
allied fields.
