Enver Sajjad
Dr. Enver Sajjad widely acclaimed as "the architect of
modern Urdu fiction". Dr. Enver Sajjd is also recognized
to be a "trend-setter" playwright. He has also written
extensively for television and films. He is currently the head
of GEO television's script department.
Talat
Hussain
Talat Hussain, one of the most illustrious names in the theatre
and television. He began his life as a broadcaster. He was trained
for the theatre in England. He has also worked for Nottingham,
Playhouse and at the National Theatre in the UK.
Rahat
Kazmi
Rahat Kazmi resigned from the civil services of Pakistan in
1976 to pursue his love for the theatre, media and education.
His contribution has been widely acknowledged both by the critics
and the public. In the last 28 years he has been associated
with some of the best theatrical and television productions
in Karachi.
Khalid
Ahmed
Khalid Ahmed formally trained in the theatre at the London Academy
of Music and Dramatic Art, Khalid Ahmad began his career in
electrical engineering. His growing interest in the theatre
led him over the years to abandon engineering completely and
switch towards theatre and television production, directing,
acting and writing on a full time basis.
Anjum
Ayaz
Anjum Ayaz Has been directing plays for over 25 years. Lately
he has been involved with experimental theatre and the Theatre
in the Round. He was the organizer/director of UNESCO theatre
workshop for one year. He is also a renowned sculptor who has
won many
Saba Sayeed
Saba Sayeed completed her
Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University, majoring in
Theatre Studies. While in Montréal, she founded the Academy
of Cinematic Theatre and directed more than ten stage productions,
which included Ashes to Ashes (Pinter), Love in the Garden (Lorca)
and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Shakespeare). An educationalist
by profession, she works closely with her students.
